Today is Rudolph Day!

Happy Rudolph Day, everyone! I have been in a Christmas frame of mind today! After church I got a Gooseberry Patch Christmas Book (#9) out and went through it, looking for some ideas for gifts, food, gift wrap, etc. I found a few things I'm interested in...I plan to make a list of things to work on this summer, then see how far I get with making gifts. If I don't get a fair amount of things done by the time the kids go back to school, I'll just decide on things to purchase for everyone. I really would like to make this a handmade Christmas! I had planned to make some tea mix, but I forgot to get the supplies, so I'll do that another time.

What did you do for Rudolph Day today?

May Rudolph Day plans

I have been in such a Christmas frame of mind the past few days! I listened to Christmas music on the net today while reading Christmas posts on Magical Holiday Home and the Merry Network, and I've even been mulling over a few ideas for decorating. Can you believe that it's almost June already. Where did the spring go?

For this coming Rudy Day, which is actually Memorial Day, I'm going to make some spiced tea mix, and firm up the remaining Rudy Day plans. I need to finalize which crafts I'm actually going to try to make, and get some lists of supplies made. We are having a combination birthday party for Benjie/Memorial Day get together Saturday night, so I should be free on Monday to do my Christmas stuff. At least that's the plan!

I'll be back in a week or so to let you know what I've actually done (or not done!)

Later!
